WA Millionaire's Tax: What to Know
Online webinar on tax planning strategies before Washington's new tax takes effect in 2028.
Washington State's new Millionaire's Tax introduces a 9.9% tax on income above $1 million beginning January 1, 2028. While the effective date may feel far away, some of the most useful planning strategies need to be considered well in advance.
Larson Gross Advisors will host an online webinar on Tuesday, July 28, from 12:00-1:00 PM to walk through how the tax is calculated, who it may affect, how it interacts with federal income, and what relocating may or may not solve under Washington-source income rules.
The session will also cover planning opportunities for individuals and business owners, including income acceleration, entity structure, estate planning, pass-through entities, capital gains, and succession considerations.
Presenters include Adrienne Stewart, Senior Manager; Kevin DeYoung, Partner, Larson Gross Advisors; and Dan VanBeek, Partner, Larson Gross Advisors.
