Andi Hochleutner
About
Originally from Dallas, TX, Andi Hochleutner, MPS, decided to leave the Texas heat to make the Yakima Valley her home and become CWHBA’s Government Affairs Director.
Andi’s interest in home building started at an early age and prompted her to study architectural design at the University of Texas, Arlington, before finding her true calling in Legal and Legislative Affairs. As a graduate of George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management in Legislative Affairs, Andi is responsible for developing a comprehensive, proactive government affairs strategy to advance the priorities of the residential construction industry throughout Central Washington. Andi represents CWHBA’s interest before local governments and partners with the Building Industry Association of Washington, (BIAW) and National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) to implement policy at the state and federal level.
Additionally, Andi oversees the cultivation of CWHBA’s Political Action Committee, the Affordable Housing Council of Central Washington Home Builders (AHCCW) to elect pro-business and pro-housing officials.
As a former Girl Scout, current Junior League member and lifetime Delta Zeta, Andi’s passion for volunteerism has driven her to a dedicated career in public service. Andi finds joining the CWHBA as a joyful meshing of her passions, architecture and community service. Andi loves being outdoors running with her rescue pup, Millie, swimming or enjoying a baseball game with friends.
