At a news conference yesterday, Let's Go Washington announced that IP26-645 to repeal Washington's new income tax was heading to print. IP26-645 is a straightforward initiative to the people that would repeal the tax and give Washington voters the opportunity to make their voices heard directly at the ballot box. Governor Ferguson and the legislature passed the income tax in a way that prevented a referendum and avoided an automatic public vote, making the initiative process the primary avenue for voters to weigh in.
