The draft Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy for Kittitas and Yakima counties is open for public comment through October 7, 2026.
The Ki-Yak CEDS provides a five-year vision and blueprint for regional economic growth. Rather than establishing a fixed list of projects, it outlines strategies that community members and leaders can use when pursuing state and federal grant opportunities.
Review the draft strategy, then share your feedback through the public comment survey. Survey responses will be anonymous and submitted to the U.S. Economic Development Administration along with the CEDS.
