Les Schwab Tires Supports Yakima Students

Local organizations and volunteers are helping Yakima students begin the 2026–27 school year prepared for success.

Through this year’s Pack-a-Backpack drive, Les Schwab, local branch managers, Brittni Sigman, Casey Fewkes, and the Yakima Valley Pippins contributed school supplies for students across Yakima School District middle and high schools.

Eisenhower High School served as a central gathering and drop-off location. Students and staff representing ASB Leadership, Interact-NHS, Cheerleading, Football, Marching Band, and Cross Country also participated in the effort.

These partnerships provide more than backpacks and supplies. They show students that local businesses, organizations, and community members believe in their potential and want to help them succeed.
