CWHBA Young Professional Council Build Day with Habitat for Humanity

Join the CWHBA Young Professionals Council on Friday, August 14 for a hands-on volunteer Build Day with Habitat for Humanity.

This is a meaningful opportunity to give back, connect with other industry professionals, and support Habitat’s work to create safe, affordable housing for a local family. Whether you have construction experience or simply a willingness to help, there will be a place for you on site.

Volunteers may sign up for one shift or both. Each shift is limited to 6–8 volunteers, so early registration is encouraged. 

What to Expect

When you arrive, please check in on the volunteer log. The day will begin with a brief safety meeting led by the Habitat Construction Crew. Volunteers will then be divided into small groups and assigned tasks for the day, which may include interior finish work and light landscaping.

What to Bring and Wear

Please wear:

• Long pants
• Closed-toe shoes

All tools and equipment will be provided on site.
