DESCRIPTION:Join the YCDA for a virtual employer roundtable to learn about Washington Saves\, a new state-facilitated retirement savings program scheduled to open in July 2027.Under state law\, certain employers that do not offer a qualified retirement plan will be required to facilitate employee access to Washington Saves. Individuals who work for a non-mandated employer or who are self-employed will also have the option to enroll independently.Washington Saves is designed to be simple for employers and employees. Employers will have no program fees\, required contributions\, or financial liability. Once a business registers\, participating employees can build long-term financial security through automatic payroll contributions to an individual retirement account (IRA).
