Current, past, and prospective contractors/grantees are encouraged to attend the first in a series of virtual town halls

The Washington State Department of Commerce’s Contracts & Compliance Division is hosting online town hall meetings this year. The first one is on September 23, 2026, from 2 to 3 p.m.

  • The town hall will explore the newly established Shared Standards Initiative (SSI) to ensure contracts are implemented and monitored more uniformly into the future.
  • At the Sept. 23 session, you’ll learn how the agency is making it easier to handle contracts, improving how contracts are managed, and training contract managers. Your ideas and questions will help shape future town halls, focusing on contracting topics that matter most to you.
  • Attendance is optional.

For an overview of this Initiative, please view and download the SSI one-pager.
